So, you will already know who is living in a rent-controlled apartment, who is paying $78, and whose rent is $323. As a landlord, you already know who is living in your property, but you might also find that some people are paying way below market rate. So, a lot of landlords who buy buildings from other landlords or owners or investors already know that rent control is a thing.
